anw yep another gruelling week. haha actually this week quite slack. no tabletennis, no H3, no chem olympiad training (woohoo!). yea the stress level has sort of went down abit even with me visiting the 'anti-stress' booth at the nj atruim. lol

yea although my maths test was badly done, this has been a good week.
Even for the usually dismal PW, my group suddenly had TWO organizations showing interest to help us. (:

i met yijun and ccq today in nj, which was quite a surprise. After my interview for the Assistant director position, i went back to the gym for tend the non-existent Table tennis booth. i tried mugging but felt too inappropriate to do so. Then i started smsing randomly to nanhua juniors to see if they are in NJ for the open house. THEN i saw yijun. hahaa! ccq came later.

it always feels good to see these two girls around. (:

im anticipating tml because YANZI will be performing at CAMPUS SUPERSTAR SHOW tml :D

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY FELLOW SINGAPOREANS!

(: haha yea njc's celebration was pretty cool and hyper. The atmosphere was heightened by all the barang-barang (or izit rah-rah) whistles, clappers, poppers stuff. i must say the council did a good job. I enjoyed the respective house march ins. aqua had massive 排场, with their props, mascots, and of course their numerous aquarians performing. Terra was really green. haha as in GREEN and environmentally-conscious kind of green. Minimal props, just erm. terra-ers/terra-ians? with army-wear and tt shrek. tho their dance was the same one i saw during 1st 3 months orientation. lol. AND solaris! haha the yellow transformer was pretty impressive.

hmmm sorry girls didnt go nanhua after everything. cya soon yea? TEACHERS' DAY!

right. i got accepted for H3 chem. it was a sort of an unexpected news because i really thought that they had chosen the candidates already since more than a month had past since i took the test. yea weining got selected too! hehee 靠你咯 (:

it's not going to be easy. but it's not going to be impossible too.

im officially SEVENTEEN!
i woke up with five sms greetings. thankyou (: singhui was the first haa 12.00.40am according to my handphone. Then i had 37 more. :D WAA! YEA!! I made an effort to reply ALL smses this year. just a small thankyou. and of course a bigger thankyou to some others whom i really did not expect to wish me a happy birthday. Some really special people- Carine, Katrina (: primary school peeps. Carine is my great pri sch mate but we got abit distant in secondary sch due to different classes and CCAs. But i've always treasured tt friendship. Katrina another special one who never fails to sms me something every year, since i got my first hp in sec 2. And every year she sends me christmas cards. ttz so nice right?

haa then i had a few surprises too- pheong heong(!) and xinglong(!!)

OCS visit was pretty cool. (btw OCS is officer cadet school) I really managed to gain an insight into the "army-way-of-life". Green food packs, green camo-paint, green everything. TERRA WE MAKE YOU GREEN WITH ENVY. ya anw, i think my brother will not survive through the camp. 40kg of barang-barang to carry uphill is seriously no joke, to exacerbate matters he is currently less than 50kg. oh well, he is only sec one. he will grow up stronger, tougher, taller. i guess

i got to learn interview skills. things like a proper, sincere handshake, eye contact, dress code. i was picked out to demonstrate how to make a proper self introduction. as usual, i stammered abit and blurted out what i wanted to say very fast. hmm must learn to talk s l o w e r wo ke yi!

i looovvee acapella! ooO and there was this NJ guy who could beatbox!(actually there were 2..) so cool! i want to learn beatboxing!

HOOK!HOOK!JAB!JAB! FLYING KICK! FRONT KICK! WAAAA cool bi le! It was my first time stepping into a erm.. commercialised gym? normally i just go to my condo' gym you see.. the equipment there is really amazing. together with the plasma tvs, everything look so sleek. Body combat was fun, tho tiring. we got to learn how to execute punches and kicks. There was no real physical contact tho, it was just shadow boxing. ya so its safe!

DNA profiling talk, nanoscience talk, and lingerie talk. (: the DNA talk was interesting in the sense that we had a first hand account of how many crimes, including famous ones like the Huang Na's case and the liu hong mei case, were solved using this DNA profiling technique because the speaker specialises in this area.

up next will be my fifty five dollars basic speaking course and grooving to the hiphop beat. hope that i'll learn something from the basic speaking course, and maybe overcome my problem of speaking too fast.

Alevels results was released today. Surprisingly, the atmosphere in NJC was not as tensed up as I had expected it to be. Everything was calm like nothing major was going to happen, maybe except for J2's common test. Looking back, I think i must have looked hillarious freaking out in school on the 9 of Feb. The 54 chant, the 'shit im not going to make it, the numerous OHMYGOSHes .... HAA!

At abt 2pm, a grp of us went to the hall to see hows the release of results was being carried out. thats where you really see an array of real and raw emotions. Its quite an amazing scene actually.

Hmm ya. so it will be me, in the hall, waiting for MY results two, erm maybe three, years from now. OMGOSH. haa and guess wad? i nearly faild my first math test. XUE-TE i did study okay. Its only the first actual week of lessons and im like so ill already.. sore throat, cough, flu, blocked ears and nose, fever, headache, muscle cramps.. ya i admit im stressed up. i've got my internet connection back. finally [: found out tt my comp is really corrupted... i hate viruses. totally.

anw yep its 2007! christmas was great. Dec holiday was fantastic. grad nite was memorable. class chalets were fun. tt KL trip was fruitful. my job was enriching. and i've got some stuff settled. yep though everything was really fast paced and i did not really have many periods of quiet contemplation for the new year or recollections for the past years, i really had a good break after the Os.

Thank you 2006. really. it wasnt just another year. There were times when i had to shut my eyes tight, urging them to behave. but such difficult periods were the ones which moulded me into a stronger person. Im not sure if 2006 was a 'more-happy' or 'more-depressed' year but wadever is the case im thankful i've got through everything. and thankyou fourfive, teachers included, lovya loads.

New year resolutions? hmm.. stay positive, happy and healthy i guess. No major agendas for me except to survive through J1. haha hang on ppl [:

TO say that im happy now is really an understatement [:

heee i really enjoyed every second of this whole experience, including shopping, styling and the actual grad nite itself. Initially, i thought that i would be a disaster, making a fool out of myself. but HEY! i was okay rite? and i think i looked pretty. HAAA really. Ivy leh mugger bookish me or goddess chai wadever dressing up, styling the hair, manicure, makeup, dress...

Moreover i think the whole fourfive looked great, especially the girls [: Its like even the "bookish people" like caiqin, meikwan and i looked decent. And the guys, wow not bad, a dashing group too. We really did ourselves proud guys! fourfive can also look this stunning [:

As for the teachers, i think they looked normal. hAA! eh anw i didnt see yelaoshi and mskhoo. wad a pity.. hmm and before i went home a said a 'byebye!' to ms chan, which might possibly be the last 'byebye!'. aww i'll miss her loads~

yep i actually have so much to blog about.. about how excited am i about the chalet and the rest of the holidays, about what have i been so badly deprived of, about my plans, about some feelings, about some people... but im a little tired now [:

er the 'highness' in me is gone now. now i think i feel more of the 'empty' feeling. Suddenly there is nothing to study, no formulae to memorise, no need to race with the time, no need to plan for what-to-study-tml. i think i did okay for the Os. tho yea i really screwed some. ohwell just see how everything turns out [:

i think i dont want to go and work during this holidays. Improving my english seems to be more important now especially if i pass my HCL... no more mother tongue to back on now. the only language i have in JC will be english. IMPROVE IVY! yep prelims talks today. AC, innova, Njc came. i think i'll still chose Njc even though it will be really tough inside with everyone being the 'elites'. go there and be scum lohh.. er but i am quite interested in their Sapphire Scholars programme tho its unlikey i'll be chosen cause i'll be the scum there.
CCA wise i think if there is floorball i want to join, if not join dragon boat? squash? erm or maybe just go back table tennis. Subject combinations i think i'll take H2chemistry, H2biology, H2 economics and maybe H1 maths. economics sounds interesting but alot of ppl say that it is very difficult.
Btw economics is: The social science that deals with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services and with the theory and management of economies or economic systems. Abit like development in our geog elective now i think. i guess it will be better for me to take econs rather than pure geography cause i think the latter will be of no use to me in the future. Dont want to waste my life away cramming in how volcanos are formed or why is there tsunami.
I'm choosing biology over physics because i just checked the couse modules of dentistry which include anatomy, first aid and biochemistry. Although i know i'll be studying alot abt plants too in the JC bio but well i rather study this than to find out the acceleration of some stupid lift with a poor girl inside...

[btw thankew yanjia for coming to the toilet to check if i was ok]

er huh apparently there was a miracle for my social studies.. my SEQ minus 10 marks but my SBQ got a full. i think its like what ppl say " hua bei fen wei li liang". everytime i attempt a SS paper i will first look and the SEQ and plan what i want to write. but well you noe apparently there was NOTHING i had studied about so ended up feeling really grim. maybe this 'grimness' cause me to work extra hard for my SBQ and make sure tt i had the highest level for every single question... oh well phew...

er ya i got a distinction for my CCA records [there will be some changes but well it should be still a distinction]. really unexpected. almost everyone got their distinction actually and i think those tt didnt should get theirs after the changes...
